Meet Our Groomers

Hope - Owner/Groomer

Hello, my name is Hope, and I am the owner of Petman Grooming. I have owned the business since April 2022, having previously worked for Petman for several years before assuming ownership. With 13 years of grooming experience and a lifelong passion for animals, I have developed a strong connection to this field. I have been a resident of this area for over 25 years and I share my home with a Standard Poodle. I find grooming to be both calming and therapeutic, and I am pleased to offer grooming services for cats as well as dogs of all sizes and breeds.

Lauren - Groomer

I'm Lauren and Ive been professionally grooming for 6 years. I enjoy working on all kinds of Doodles and large breed dogs. I originally got into this career field as a teenager because I had a doodle myself that needed upkeep and through owning her I discovered my passion for grooming. I am very patient with each dog I meet no matter their behavior or requirements, and have been able to very successfully groom some dogs deemed unmanageable or very difficult.

Bobbi - Groomer

Hello, my name is Bobbi, and I have been a professional groomer for 17 years. I began my grooming career in 2007 as a bather, where I quickly realized my passion for the craft. Over the next four years, I had the opportunity to work alongside a master groomer, during which time I earned a certification in grooming sporting breeds. I specialize in terriers, particularly schnauzers, as well as breeds with a substantial undercoat, such as Australian Shepherds and Golden Retrievers. My grooming philosophy is to treat each dog with the same care and attention as if they were my own.

Kerowyn - Bather

My name is Kerowyn, and I have been with Petman Grooming for three years. I have recently become the lead bather and I am excited to advance my career by learning to do full grooms! I have also recently started bathing some of the cats we see. I find great joy in bathing dogs of all breeds, with a particular fondness for small dogs. I strive to get to know each pet to ensure they receive the best experience possible. I work with various coat types, ranging from Boxers to Newfoundlands, doing sanitary trims, trimming feet and furnishings. 

Hailee - Receptionist

Hello everyone, my name is Hailee, and I am one of the receptionists at Petman Grooming. I have a background in bathing and over 10 years of experience in customer service. Currently, I am a proud owner of a French Bulldog and a tiny senior Chihuahua. I am originally from Richmond and have been part of this community for nearly two years. I truly enjoy getting to meet all the wonderful pets that visit our facility.

Megan - Receptionist

Hello! My name is Megan and I'm a receptionist here at Petman Grooming. I am a proud mama to a high energy and goofy English Springer Spaniel named Bud. I love working with both animals and humans and at Petman, I get to do exactly that. I've been here for almost a year now, and the environment here is so refreshing and welcoming. I love being able to meet so many new pets and seeing them often. It warms my heart when I see how excited the pets and the owners get at pickup. Seeing them reunite is such a wholesome moment and I'm grateful I get to witness it so often!

Stephanie - Manager/Receptionist

Hello! I'm Stephanie, and I serve as the manager at Petman Grooming. In addition to my management role, I am also a receptionist as well as the in-house photographer! I have been with Petman for almost four years and bring a background in veterinary medicine and office management, along with a lifelong passion for animal care. I take great pride in building relationships with our clients and their pets, ensuring they feel confident entrusting their furry family members to our team. I tend to fill in wherever needed and you can find me running the front desk and answering phones or bathing and prepping dogs for grooming. This year I am also learning to groom! My experience extends to a variety of animals, from companion animals like dogs and cats to small animals like guinea pigs and rabbits, some reptiles, and a variety of livestock. I am a strong advocate for ensuring that pets are comfortable and that the grooming process is as stress-free and as enjoyable as possible.
